Inactive function

Hi!
I'm having some problems with the inactive function.
I'm using the DOORS dxl reference manual, and the function still does not work.
see:

void inactive (DBE selectChoiceQ1){
if(!((isMember(obj."Applicability", "L450"))&&(isMember(obj."Applicability", "L500"))))
inactive selectChoiceQ1
}

but when I run the dxl the choice "selectChoiceQ1" still active, I want it turns gray, you know, and the user can not modify its value, he can not even touch it ....
Got it?

Thanks!

Really? You make a custom function inactive(DBE) and wonder why the call to 'inactive(DBE)' inside this function will not call the original DOORS perm anymore? ;-) Maybe try to rename your function? Regards, Mathias

Don't worry, EVERY single one of us as done that! I resolved the problem with strict naming conventions; and I deviate from most in that the first letter of the function name is Upper case: I use "GetIt" instead of the 'C' standard "getIt". While that seems natural it resolves the problem of name conflicts.
